Dhanroc Events Earns South Asian Wedding Certification

We're proud to share that Dhanroc Events has been awarded the South Asian Wedding Certification, granted by the South Asian Wedding Institute to professionals who demonstrate excellence and specialized knowledge in planning weddings rooted in the cultures and traditions of the South Asian world.

For us, this certification is more than a title on a wall. It's a recognition of the depth of study, respect and care that South Asian weddings demand — and a formal commitment to the growing number of couples who choose Mexico as the backdrop for one of the most meaningful chapters of their lives.

The certification covers the religion, culture, rituals, attire and gastronomy that shape South Asian celebrations — from Hindu and Sikh ceremonies to the rhythm of a multi-day wedding that may unfold across Mehndi, Sangeet, Haldi, Baraat, Pheras and Reception, each with its own meaning and choreography. After years of having the privilege of designing these celebrations across the Riviera Maya, formalizing this expertise felt like the natural next step.
