Kathy & Toan’s wedding at Villa La Joya in Playa del Carmen was the perfect balance of refined elegance and heartfelt intimacy, set against one of the most breathtaking oceanfront venues in Mexico. With 60 guests, the celebration felt exclusive, warm, and deeply personal — a true reflection of the couple’s vision.

The couple envisioned a tropical, moody, and organic aesthetic with a minimalist approach, allowing every design element to feel curated and meaningful. We worked closely with them to bring this vision to life through a rich color palette — each one thoughtfully designed to feel organic and distinct. With 63 guests, the atmosphere was intimate, warm, and effortlessly elegant.

The concept centered around a romantic minimalist aesthetic, where every detail was intentional and elevated. A soft, natural color palette of greens, earthy tones, and whites created a serene and sophisticated atmosphere. The ceremony and reception design embraced delicacy and simplicity, allowing the beauty of the location to shine while enhancing it with carefully curated elements. White florals paired with abundant candlelight brought a timeless romance, while long tables featured subtle illumination running along them, creating a glowing, intimate ambiance as the evening unfolded. Achieving a look that was effortlessly elegant and cohesive.

One of the most memorable moments was the remarkable entrance — a stunning first impression that set the tone for the entire celebration and left guests in awe from the very beginning. Throughout the night, the atmosphere was filled with joy, connection, and seamless flow, allowing everyone to be fully present and enjoy every moment.
